REMOTE - Inside Sales and Customer Service Specialist - North America location - work from home
This position could very well lead into management of Inside Sales / Customer Service teams.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be working with the North American sales team, this role will support the following activities:
  • Process incoming orders in a timely manner, checking details, communicating with customers as and when required, and advise of any potential technical or delivery issues.
  • Maintain communication with key personnel regarding inventory/par levels of product in US fulfillment center and corporate headquarters, keeping the team informed.
  • Receive, process, provide follow up with all ‘Troubleshooting’forms that come in through web request form.
  • Provide excellent customer service by acting as a liaison, providing product and service information, answering key questions and resolving emerging problems through active listening.
  • Assists with sales enquiries, identifying communication for North America, following up as per protocol.
  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls/ emails/mailings and securing appointments for product demonstrations.
  • Through the Microsoft Dynamics CRM database:
    • Lead generation: reviewing, researching and identifying potential customers, identifying key players and building relationships to generate interest.
    • Review/assign all leads to appropriate sales team member in a timely manner.
    • Work with distributors: lead generation and set up.
    • Work with end user customers as needed.
    • Continual and ongoing review of leads/information.
  • Work independently along with sales and marketing teams to build pipeline: sales, marketing, etc.
  • Work with the head office team corporate headquarters.
  • Participate in training sessions with sales and marketing teams and customers, as needed, to enhance knowledge base and the sales process as required.
  • Have a working technical knowledge of clients technology and products and personal protection equipment across all industries and segments.
  • Minimum two years prior experience in a customer service-related field
  • Intermediate skills with Excel using spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, V lookups
  • Experience with CRM software, Microsoft Dynamics is
  • Experience with ERP software, Epicor is
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
IDEAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
  • Minimum two years prior experience in a customer service-related field
  • Intermediate skills with Excel using spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, V lookups etc.
  • Experience with CRM software, Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
  • Experience with ERP software, Epicor is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Some occasional travel to major warehouse in Dallas, Texas may be asked so that you can build relationships with those at this location.
