Business Development Manager Location: Ideally Philadelphia area (covering Virginia to Maine)
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their Sales Safety team. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic regional partnerships, and driving revenue growth. The Business Development Manager will engage with end-user customers and distribution partners in Personal Protection Equipment, promoting the product line.
Key Duties:
Proactively Seek and Engage Ideal Customers
Identify high-potential end-user accounts and utilize strategic distribution channels to maximize results (pull strategy).
Manage leads from start to finish, closing deals with effective CRM practices and clear.
Develop an annual sales plan with efficient time and territory management, planning activities well in advance.
Manage sales and expense budgets for the territory, including goal.
Identify and engage strategic national distributors to drive revenue in your region, working closely with BolléSafety’s Strategic Account Managers.
Possess deep knowledge of eye protection, BolléSafety’s value proposition, and relevant applications to guide partners and customers.
Develop and support account presentations;attend customer meetings and events.
Attend industry events (safety, regional and distributor), track trends, analyze competitors, and share insights with colleagues.

Qualifications:
Essential Skills and Experience:

- Growth mindset
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment
- Over 5 years in Industrial Sales, preferably in PPE products
- Successful revenue growth experience with large Industrial (MRO/Safety) Distribution companies
- Knowledge of industry regulatory requirements (OSHA, ANSI, NIOSH, PSM, )
- Proficiency in CRM software and other systems
- Competency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- 4-year Degree
- QSSP Certification
Physical and Travel Requirements:
- Ability to travel within given territory.
- Ability to visit various customer sites (construction, chemical, government) without restrictions.
- Ability to carry company equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs.
