Director of Government Sales
Location: Anywhere USA
Our client is one of the fastest growing manufacturers of PPE for the Fire Industry / First Responder markets worldwide. Our client has been in business for over 40 years.
Our client is growing and are seeking a QUALIFIED Director of Government Sales. In this position you will be the head of their Government Sales division to advance this division to the next level and beyond! This is a great position for you to truly have the opportunity to put your fingerprint on this division and bring it to life and continued growth! You will build a sales team under you after your first year. There will be 60% to 70% of travel required in your first year. Your location is not important.
Our client requires this person to have had or is experienced in PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) within the First Responder / Fire Department markets. Also required is knowledge and experience selling into the DoD, DHS, ATF, FBI, etc. These are two requirements that are non-negotiable in your background.
This is not a "manage from your desk" type position. You will be responsible for selling in your first year. Our client does sell through distribution. They want your sales experience to be one of a consultative sell and that you have experience introducing new products and driving the spec process.
Our client is willing to pay a very good base plus commissions for you because of the experience you have and the knowledge you have of this industry.
