Job Description
Our client (a USA manufacturer of Safety Products selling through major distribution channels) is actively interviewing for an Inside Sales Specialist (Outbound only no cold calling) position.
INSIDE SALES OUTREACH –75%
You will have approximately 300 customers (mostly small distributors, some end users) worth $2.5 million that need quarterly outreach and ongoing support.
CUSTOMER SERVICE –25%

INSIDE SALES OUTREACH –75%
You will have approximately 300 customers (mostly small distributors, some end users) worth $2.5 million that need quarterly outreach and ongoing support.
- You will build strong relationships with customers –roughly 50 “top”accounts and 250 smaller accounts. Largest roughly $25K annually. This may include finding the most current contacts.
- Provide product information, pricing and delivery information.
- Offer promotions, look for gaps in product lines, opportunities to help them improve the Guardair presence on their website.
- Promote new services, products and promotions.
- No cold calling however should be comfortable setting up webinars, teams meetings or making prescheduled calls as needed
- Writing custom emails will be an important skill. Openness to using AI to assist when needed.
- Reports monthly on status of account work.
CUSTOMER SERVICE –25%
- Answer phones on rotation
- Answer technical calls –about 5 per day
- Daily use of ERP system for data entry of customer and sales data –in particular, orders
- Enter draft orders in Shopify or quotes in ERP as needed
- Work in CRM
OTHER
- Participate at various North American trade shows (3-4 per year)
- Remote position
REQUIREMENTS
- Decisive and action-oriented nature
- Self-motivated and team participant (hands on mentality)
- Strong work ethic and desire to work in sales and customer service
- Strong computer skills are preferred including Microsoft Office and an ERP system
- Ability to prioritize to achieve goals and quality customer satisfaction
- Solid writing skills and must pay close attention to detail
