Job Description
Our client (a USA manufacturer of Safety Products selling through major distribution channels) is actively interviewing for a Sales Manager. In this role you will be managing the sales team;developing the strategy and implementing yearly trade shows and industry events;collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop strategies for end-user OSHA compliance and audits along with virtual product presentations and recommendations in expanding the digital footprint;assist in identifying new promotional opportunities, brand messaging within distributor channels;annual sales forecasting and budgeting initiatives;develop performance reports on sales activities, including distributor metrics and implementation to sales team.
In this position you will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact sales strategies to drive revenue growth across national distribution networks and end-user channels. Leading a team of two Business Development Managers, this position combines market development, strategic planning, team leadership, and relationship-building with distributor partners to maximize market penetration, enhance product visibility, and promote OSHA compliance within the industrial sector. With a focus on strategic accounts, as the Sales Manager you will play a pivotal role in aligning sales initiatives with organizational goals and fostering strong partnerships with distributors and key end-users.
You will also be responsible for strategic oversight of Key Distributor Accounts, Distributor Partner Engagement and Support and End-User Advocacy and Factory Support.
Requirements for this position is:
Experience managing and oversight of Key Distributor Accounts Nationally and Regionally (such as Grainger, Fastenal, McMaster Carr etc). Ideally would be a plus to have experience with industry buying groups (such as Evergreen ADA, etc.).
At least three years of managing a sales team with experience in successful development and implementation of sales strategies through distribution and end-user partners.
Excellent time management and CRM along with experience in supporting and leveraging digital and social media platforms
Experience in negotiation of supplier agreements, MDF’s, and pricing strategies, along with experience managing rebate programs and tracking performance, and training for in-person presentations by Business Development Managers (you may do some yourself!).
Experience in implementing and promoting OSHA Standards within the industrial industry and implementing and supporting new product launches via digital / social media platforms.
Ideally would like a four year college degree.
Location ideally will be east of the Mississippi, including Texas.
Base plus bonus;corporate credit card, car allowance, health insurance, 401K, etc.
